The United States Hockey League announced the Forward, Defenseman and Goaltender of the Week for Week 26 of the 2018-19 season. Sioux City Musketeers forward and 2019 NHL Draft prospect Bobby Brink was named Forward of the Week for the third time this season, Chicago Steel blueliner Luke Reid earned his first-ever Defenseman of the Week honors and Musketeers goalie Ben Kraws was named Goaltender of the Week for the second time in his career. Brink scored a goal in each of his three games this past week, while Reid netted his first career USHL goal and dished out 2 helpers and Kraws stopped 47 of 50 shots faced to earn his team four crucial points over the weekend. The USHL is America’s only Tier 1 junior hockey league, and continues to lead the world in the advancement of Division I college hockey athletes.

Brink scored a goal in each of his three games this past weekend, while also dishing out two assists to help his team earn four of six points on the weekend. The 2019 NHL Draft prospect has now earned Forward of the Week honors for the third time this season, and is up to 55 points (29G, 26A) in 37 games this year, an average of 1.49 points per game, fifth among all USHL players. His 55 points lead all Sioux City players and are also good for ninth among all USHL players. Brink’s 29 goals lead the Musketeers and are good for fifth among all USHL players. This is the third weekly award of Brink’s USHL career, as he was previously named Forward of the Week on Nov. 5, 2018 and Feb. 4, 2019. The University of Denver commit was listed as a B-rated skater on the NHL Central Scouting Players to Watch List and was ranked 29th among North American skaters on January's NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings. Brink also helped Team USA win a goal medal at the World Junior A challenge. Prior to his time in the USHL, Brink played for Minnetonka High in his home state of Minnesota.

It was a milestone weekend for Reid, who scored his first career USHL goal on Friday to help his team earn a big victory over Green Bay. He also dished out two assists over the course of the week to help Chicago maintain their hold on second place in the Eastern Conference standings. The University of North Dakota commit is in the midst of his first full USHL season, where he has registered 18 points (1G, 17A) in 53 games, good for fourth among all Steel defensemen. Reid is a native of Warman, SK and previously played for the Penticton Vees (BCHL) and Battlefords Stars (SJHL).

Kraws stopped 18 of the 19 shots he faced on Saturday before turning away 29 of 31 shots on Sunday to help his team earn two major victories to close out the weekend and maintain their hold on the final Clark Cup Playoffs spot in the Western Conference. The Cranbury, NJ native has now won each of his last three starts and boasts a record of 20-14-0-1 to go along with a 2.91 GAA and .895 SV%. This is the second career USHL weekly award for Kraws, who was named to the 2019 USHL/NHL Top Prospects Game, where he was credited with 16 saves. Kraws is in his second USHL season with Sioux City, having posted a 5-4-1-3 record in the 2017-18 campaign. In 63 career USHL games, he has a 25-18-5-5 record, a 3.03 GAA and .895 SV%. Prior to his time in the USHL, Kraws played for Little Caesars.
